Save our Seabirds Florida SEE Gold Certified About Save our Seabirds: The mission of Save our Seabirds is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick and injured wild birds while educating our community about preventing injuries and preserving habitats. birds that are unable to be returned to the wild are given permanent homes in the Wild Bird Learning Center.  Available tours include a series of fully accredited field trips for school children:* Who's that Bird? (Grades K-2) * Beaks and Feet: (Grades 3-5) * Bird Scavenger Hunt ( Grades 6-8) * Let's Classify the Way Scientists Do (Grades 9-12) *College internships, summer camps and tours of the Wild Bird Learning Center  SEE Certification Highlights Save our Seabirds and Wild Bird Learning Center become the 12th Florida SEE Certified Operator in November of 2016. They qualified at the GOLD level, having met all CORE criteria of the Florida SEE Certification Checklist and 51 of the applicable BONUS Criteria resulting in a 85% overall rating.
