About The Event

Florida’s Coral Reef is the largest in the continental United States and can be found just past the beaches of the Atlantic Coast. Learn about some of the organisms that call the FCR home and different ways you can experience this unique ecosystem. 


Presenter: Ana Zangroniz serves as the Florida Sea Grant Extension Agent in Miami-Dade County, FL. Ana’s focus is on the coastal and marine resources of Miami-Dade County, and she delivers extension programming that is audience-specific and addresses the needs of both the environment and local stakeholders. When not working, Ana spends most of her time underwater, scuba diving in Biscayne National Park, or cuddling her dog, Pilon.
