About The Event

Florida SEE will host a virtual Assessor Training Session via Zoom on June 23rd at 7:30 PM for individuals interested in helping evaluate ecotourism operators through the Certification & Recognition Program.

Assessors attend assigned tours or site visits as guests and evaluate the real visitor experience using Florida SEE’s assessor checklist. Their role is to observe, document, and report on areas such as interpretation, safety practices, wildlife ethics, minimum-impact behavior, and guest communication. This training will review the certification process and assessor expectations.
