About The Event

Join us for a leisurely guided bike ride through the scenic Babcock Webb Wildlife Management Area (WMA), one of the region’s largest and most ecologically significant natural areas. Our ride will follow approximately 15 miles of paved and packed shell roads, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable cycling experience suitable for most skill levels.

Along the way, we’ll pause to observe and discuss the native plants and wildlife that call Babcock Webb home. From towering longleaf pines to endangered Red-cockaded Woodpeckers, this preserve offers a glimpse into Florida’s rich natural heritage. Large, connected natural spaces like Babcock Webb are essential not only for wildlife habitat, but also for maintaining clean water and healthy ecosystems.

This program is suitable for all ages. Participants under 16 must attend with a parent or guardian and are required by Florida law to wear a helmet. Participants must provide their own bike. Please note that a daily-use permit…
