Estero Bay Express – Florida SEE GOLD Certified!

Congratulations to Estero Bay Express of Fort Myers Beach, FL who became the 7th Florida SEE Certified Operator on December 16th, 2013 Estero Bay Express qualified at the GOLD level!

Operating out of the Florida Clean Marina-designated Fish-Tale Marina, Estero Bay Express offers a 90-minute Dolphin Tour and a 90-minute Sunset Tour aboard the 35-foot, 30-passenger Estero Bay Express II. The Dolphin Tour covers the natural history of the inshore Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin as well as a variety of other native flora and fauna including manatee, sharks, pelicans and more. The tour explores the Estero Bay and Ostego Bay while making its way to Mound Key Archaeological State Park for a cultural history lesson on the Calusa and the impact of the Spanish Conquistadors throughout the 1500s-1700s. The Sunset Tour dials back a bit of the natural and cultural history, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

NANPA Ethical Field Practices

NANPA stands for North American Nature Photography Association. NANPA traces it's roots back to 1994, when it was first incorporated as a non-profit, 501(c)6 corporation in New York and Colorado. The organization exists to represent the interests of the field of nature photography, and promotes communication and education.

The first NANPA Nature Photography Summit was held in Fort Myers, Florida in January of 1995. It was well-attended, drawing over 500 attendees. NANPA's Ethics Committee was established early in the organization's founding.  The committee wasted no time...
