Brack Barker led a pre-conference kayak tour on Friday.  Nancy MacPhee submitted a few scenic photos during the paddle.








FRIDAY NIGHT: Presentation by nature photographer and conservation advocate JOHN MORAN

SATURDAY: Pete Corradino shot some photos during the Paynes Prairie Hike on Saturday. An impressive quantity and variety of scat was available for observation.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON brought Alachua County Manager, Dr. Lee Niblock...


... as well as Dr. Robert Knight, Board President of the Florida Springs Institute.


Saturday ended with a demonstration of the newly-automated Florida SEE Certification process, led by Certification Chair "Jungle" Pete Corradino, with SEE Board members Andrew Batten and Paula Biltmore (not pictured).


SUNDAY MORNING we heard from the delightful Dr Stephen Holland,
University of Florida Professor of Tourism and Associate Director, Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute.

After a short break for those who needed to check out of their rooms, we reconvened and the Annual Meeting was officially called to order.  Election News appears in another section of this newsletter!
